Cray Valley Radio Society 75th Anniversary Award

 

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Cray Valley Radio Society, a special anniversary award is available to any licensed amateur or short wave listener who contacts/hears the appropriate number of Cray Valley stations between 1 and 31 October 2021.

Rules

  1. 75 points are required to qualify for the award.
  2. Points are as follows:
    UK stations:
    1. Cray Valley RS special event callsign GB75CV counts 20 points
    2. Cray Valley club callsigns G3RCV (or GX3RCV), G1RCV (or GX1RCV), M8C and GB2RE count 10 points
    3. Cray Valley member stations also count 5 points
    Non-UK stations:
    1. Cray Valley special event callsign GB75CV counts 25 points
    2. Cray Valley club callsigns G3RCV (or GX3RCV), G1RCV (or GX1RCV), M8C and GB2RE count 10 points
    3. Cray Valley member stations count 5 points
  3. SWLs can claim the award using the same points system.
  4. Only one contact with each station is allowed. Any amateur band may be used. Bands may be mixed or all one band/mode. No repeater, FT8 or satellite contacts. Net and activity period contacts count towards the award.
  5. A list of stations worked/heard, Date, Time (UTC), Band, Mode, reports exchanged should be emailed to: [email protected]
  6. The award is an engraved plaque. The cost is £10 plus £4 p&p (UK) or £16 (outside UK). Payment is preferred by Paypal to bobrcv[at]ntlworld[dot]com
  7. Award claims should be sent to bobrcv[at]ntlworld[dot]com
  8. QSL cards are not required to claim the award.
